One of my great joys in life is looking back at pictures from past adventures. It’s pretty incredible how your memory can be jogged by an image, sparking a storyline of experiences you’d otherwise never recall.
At one point in life I made a decent effort at landscape photography; while I definitely came away a few good shots, the joy was lost in the effort and the gear. Since then I sold nearly all of my digital camera gear and now shoot almost entirely on film and flow with more a of documentary-style, capturing details rather than going all-in on that “one great shot”.
